Analogue Modeled Start-ups and Slow-downs
LoFi Tapestop uses Yum Audio’s virtual tape circuits to replicate the pitch behaviour and instabilities an analogue tape player produces when starting up or stopping.
With Flux, Noise and Muffle effects, as well as fully customisable start and stop times, you have full control – have it accurate or loose and bring your sound to life as you like.
To give you even more control over your starts and stops, the plugin can optionally run in full sync with your session, and starts and stops can be triggered by the use of automation at any time.

Start And Stop – Whenever You Want
The Start and Stop buttons are your gateway to creating pitch down or start up effects, known from countless great productions. Both are fully able to be re-triggered, so no need to start up before stopping again. They are using Yum Audio’s proven virtual tape algorithms to deliver pristine analog like tape behaviours.
As Random As You Like
The Flux slider allows you to mix in pitch warble and errors with the start-up and slow-down effects. At 0% the device is fully accurate, like a pristine tape machine. At 100% the tape starts and stops are full of character and analogue modelled imperfections. Add as much flavour as you like.
Add A Sprinkle Of Dust
The Dust slider will add warm noise and fuzz to your tape-starts and -stops. This is an actively changing control, meaning the lower the pitch of the signal becomes the noisier it gets. Add that extra LoFi vibe instantly wherever needed.
